I was invited to a private Carbon Poker $1500 Freeroll at the Hard Rock Hotel/Casino last night. It was pretty much a 2 table Sit n Go. I wish I could tell you I won, but I did not,lol.
Got there and met Liam (head of promos) and Tom (DFP's Affiliate Manager) Both guys were just awesome. Bluff magazine was there taking pictures and video. Carbon's new poker pro - (Poker Player and Actress) Shannon Elizabeth came to play in the STT. She had just came in 2nd the night before in the Ante Up for Africa Tourney at the WSOP. There was a $500 bounty on her and a $100 bounty on Liam. Sitting next to me was Jon Kalmar (5th Place at 2007 WSOP).
I decided that since this was a freeroll I was gonna have fun and play loose. I did well at first picking up some chips with AJ, 10-10, even 2-4 off  , lol. Then I got it...5-5. I raised 4xBB. Everyone folded to Liam in the BB. He thought, then shoved all-in. I had him covered. I wanted his bounty, lol, so I called ( I mean after all 5s are fab). He turned over A-J off and just like on Carbon Poker (lol), he hit his Ace on the turn. I was down to 500 chips. With the blinds at 300/600, I was all-in blind UTG. My 9-10 off was a wash and I was out in 12th. :roll I still won $100 at the freeroll - so it wasn't a total loss. LOL
Liam ended up winning the freeroll. But I had a great time. Carbon does know how to par-tay
I should be home tomorrow...see you all at the tables!
PS: Got back to Paris and played the $1 Wheel of Fortune slots... 4 pulls and I got the "WHEEL - OF - FORTUNE" spin and hit for 1K! Whoot!

Sounds like fun. The free money from Carbon and the WoF jackpot don't hurt either.  |

I meant put a dollar in the Wheel of Fortune lol weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee cookieeeeeeeeeeeee nice cashing in Vegas, glad you had a great time, still wish we were all there,,,next year we will be!!!!!!!!!!
